Common Causes of Whiplash Injuries

 

There are a variety of circumstances that can lead to Whiplash Injuries. Whiplash is the non-medical term that is used to describe pain in the neck after an injury to the soft tissues of neck occurs. 

Whiplash is caused when there is an abnormal motion or force that is applied to the neck that causes movement beyond the neck's normal range of motion. 

When the neck muscles and ligaments become are pulled, they become strained which causes a whiplash injury to occur.
